|For Buyers:||For Suppliers:|
All of which make you more effective in your job
A big thank you to our Annual Association Partners without whose support this programme would not be possible.
1.30pm: Welcome from the chair
1.35pm: Speed Networking
Let’s find out from the outset who is in attendance and identify people you would like to catch up with during the afternoon.
1.55pm: Data Shmata
Everyone talks about data. You can easily get buckets of it. But what do you do with it? What outcomes can you achieve with it? How do you put it to work? What do you really need to best manage travel efficiently? Is the source and quality of the data an issue?
2.45pm: Refreshment Break
3.15pm: Is It Product or Price?
Imagine you are the CFO. If you pay more than lowest price you have to get a lot back in return. Together, in a moderated group discussion, we will put an airline, a hotel and a TMC to the test. “If you’re not the cheapest, what are we getting for our money. Explain to us the greater value in your product. How do we measure that value?”
4.00pm: TMC Fees. What Does A Good Deal Look Like?
Some TMCs are offering very low fees, even zero fees. How can this be? Is there more to consider? What are the different pricing models? How do TMCs make money? What are their costs? What do you need to know to get a good deal? Hear what a procurement consultant, a card provider, a travel buyer and a TMC have to say.
4.45pm: Message from Host Venue
4.50pm: Closing Remarks from Chair
5.00pm: Networking Drinks
Stay and enjoy drinks and canapes while building valuable relationships with both travel category managers and supplier representatives
