From this week, the Singaporean corporate travel agency will have full access to Travelport Locomote’s range of module powered workflows and features.
This will enable UOB’s corporate clients to seamlessly plan, approve and book travel while enabling better duty of care and traveler safety, all from one place.
The news comes off the back of Travelport Locomote’s launch in the UK late last year, and is part of its global expansion plans for 2017. The Aussie travel tech company plans to double in size by the end of 2017.
Speaking on the latest acquisition, Sandra McLeod, CEO of Travelport Locomote said, “Breaking into the Asian market is a huge achievement for us and we’re very excited to have UOB spearheading our local presence as we continue to grow our company, reach and client network globally.
“Building relationships with international travel agencies is a core priority of ours. We believe our platform offers clients across the globe a unique service that is highly valuable in today’s complex and often fractured travel sector. We look forward to welcoming UOB’s clients to our growing portfolio of users.”
